If you're any into the indie animation sphere, you will have undoubtedly heard of GLITCH's new smash hit "The Amazing Digital Circus" which has garnered a global following in only a few weeks after release. One month later, the effects of such popularity are evident. Rampant toxicity, "baby-fication" of the concept, questionable fanart and lots, and LOTS of bait. Not to mention the false allegations and bad-faith slander against its name.

Why is that the case? Why has this show made by Gooseworx and Glitch amassed such a large fandom? And what does that entail for the future of this show and its fans?
