The MV features the original opening of Cat's♥Eye, which is set for a revival in the fall of 2025.

香港映画《盗月者トウゲツシャ》にインスパイアされて作った歌詞ですが、作品のストーリーとは直接関係ありません。
日本の文学（和歌・俳句を含む）では、自然の情景に心模様を託す表現が非常に多く見られます。例えば、「明治の文豪・夏目漱石が "I love you" を『月が綺麗ですね』と訳した」という話があります。ただ、これが事実かどうかは定かではありません。それでも、世界を精神の映し鏡として捉える表現は、現代のJ-popにも多く見られ、日本の歌詞の特徴のひとつと言えるでしょう。
そこで、「月が綺麗です」を "I love you" として表現する歌を作ってみようと思い、チャレンジしてみました。
The lyrics I wrote were inspired by the Hong Kong film The Moon Thieves (Tōgetsusha), but they are not directly related to its story. (I have not seen the film yet.)
In Japanese literature, including waka and haiku, it is common to express emotions through depictions of nature. For example, there is a famous story that the Meiji-era writer Natsume Sōseki translated "I love you" as "The moon is beautiful, isn’t it?"—though whether this is true remains uncertain. Even so, the idea of perceiving the world as a reflection of the soul is prevalent in modern J-pop as well, making it one of the defining characteristics of Japanese lyrics.
With that in mind, I wanted to create a song where "The moon is beautiful" conveys "I love you," and so I took on the challenge.
