VIRAL Dubai Chocolate Bar turned into CAKE! | How to Cake It With Yolanda Gampp

Ok, I'm sure by now you've all seen the viral Dubai chocolate bar, BUT have you seen it turned into a cake?!!

In this episode I'm caking this exotic stuffed chocolate bar trend up a notch with this mouth watering "Dubai Chocolate Bar Layer Up MEGA cake" which includes layers of butter fried Kanefe and pistachio, sandwiched between moist chocolate cake layers.

The recipe for the chocolate cake layers are below for your convenience!

Chocolate Cake Layers

1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, room temperature 4 cups light brown sugar
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
6 eggs, room temperature
2 cups buttermilk, room temperature
4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups dutch process cocoa 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 cups hot espresso

Line the bottom of four 9” round cake pans. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Place the butter, brown sugar and vanilla into the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Cream on high speed until light and fluffy, about 10 minutes.

Add the eggs, two at a time, and mix until incorporated on low speed.

Alternate adding the dry ingredients with the buttermilk. Finally, add the hot espresso.

Divide the batter evenly between the 3 prepared pans, and bake for 30-35 minutes, rotating the pans in the oven at the halfway point.
