Africa is home to immensely rich, complex, and expressive languages some of which the western world and even some Africans haven’t even heard about. Considering there are hundreds if not thousands of languages that are considered endangered or at the brink of extinction due to the small number of fluent speakers who speak them, many of these languages have never been written down anywhere, you can't find them in a book or an encyclopedia or a database, they’re only in people’s heads who when they die, a lot of wealth of knowledge evaporates with them and when these languages die, that unique knowledge is also lost.
