Simple Woodworking Project Rotating Framed Painting, a Makers Care Project

Steve Ramsey and Microjig are teaming up again this year to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant wishes to children facing life-threatening medical conditions. To participate, create an animal out of whatever you like and post a pic of it it on the Makers Care website.

My project is a double sided rotating painting. The frame and base are made of black walnut and the image is a lazer print transfer. I use Encaustic ( Bee’s wax ) to infuse the image into the paper.
