Cubs-Mets, Aug. 9, 1988 (3rd inning)

This is the first night game at Wrigley Field. I say that with pride because I was there. The originally scheduled first night game was the night before, but it was postponed in the fourth inning because of rain. My friend and I were overjoyed with that development, having bought tickets to the "second" night game. This is video from ESPN Classic, and unfortunately the recording begins in the third inning because I ignorantly taped over the beginning. Nevertheless, no runs were missed, and Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola sound great. More to come.
