三角西港と万田坑の散策 : Walking Around Misumi West Port and Manda Pit（Kumamoto, Japan）

熊本県宇城市の三角西港と荒尾市の万田坑を散策いたしました。長崎のようなレトロな町並みがとても魅力的でした。

【Misumi West Port and Manda Pit】
Misumi West Port was built in 1887 (Meiji 20) based on the policy of the Meiji government to promote new industries based on a design by Dutch hydraulic engineer Rouwenhorst Mulder.
The Manda Pit produced high-quality coal from the Meiji to the early Showa period（1899~1951）, and is a facility that supported the modernization of Japan.
In July 2015, Misumi West Port and Manda Pit were registered as a World Heritage Site as one of the constituent assets of the "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution."
